Shipping Policies

 

We ship to the Canada and the US. We do not ship to P.O. boxes. If you live outside Canada and the US, please contact us in regards to shipping. The majority of items are shipped via UPS and Canada Post. For larger items we will use other freight carriers.


If you live outside of our shipping area please contact us and we will endeavor to come up with a shipping quotation.

If you have not received your Urban Mode order within 2 to 3 weeks, please call fax or email us. Please be sure to have your invoice/purchase order/order confirmation when you contact us.

Urban Mode is located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and charges the sales taxes (HST) applicable to Ontario. Orders shipped outside of Ontario are charged HST. Outside of Canada, we do not charge sales taxes. You will be responsible for paying import duties and brokerage fees to your country if applicable.

Please note that our carriers are required to obtain a signature upon delivery.

Shipping Times

Our goal is to ship out all in stock items within 3 to 5 business days. We do not keep inventory on all items. Non stocked items have specific manufacturers lead times which may change the shipping times from 1 to 8 weeks. You will be contacted if your order is a non- stocked item and will be notified what the expected delivery time will be. Delivery dates are estimates and do not include weekends and holidays.
In a hurry...Expedited Shipping may be available. Please contact us and we will get a quotation of the extra charge.

Furniture Shipping Info

Furniture is shipped via Courier - UPS, Fedex or common carrier - a freight company - depending on the overall weight of your order. We charge shipping at cost and attempt to use the best value method available for each case. Shipping estimates will be quoted in advance.

You will be contacted one to two days in advance to schedule a Monday through Friday curbside delivery appointment. Inside delivery is available at an additional cost.
Some of our larger items are considered oversized and may be shipped with a freight carrier. We will contact you and provide you with the best possible delivery rates.
We charge shipping at cost and attempt to use the best value method available. We will always contact you with a shipping quotation for approval prior to finalizing the order and payment.

We do not keep inventory on all items. Manufacturer's lead times can vary. Please contact us for stock inventory and specific lead times.

Delivery dates are estimates only and are quoted in business days. This does not include weekends and statutory holidays. PO Box addresses are not acceptable for delivery.

For U.S. shipments, we do not charge Sales Tax. Duties and Brokerage fees may be applicable on some items and are the responsibility of the purchaser.
