PRICING

Unless otherwise expressly stated, the retail price displayed for each Product on the Site represents the full retail price listed for such Product, excluding shipping & delivery costs, applicable taxes and any other applicable fees. If you wish to purchase a Product, you will pay the retail price displayed next to the Product, plus shipping & delivery costs, applicable taxes and any other applicable fees.
Despite our best efforts, a small number of the items in our catalog may be mispriced. If the correct price of an item sold by Urban Mode is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before shipping or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation. We also may offer certain promotions or special pricing that are only available for a limited period of time.

Will Urban Mode price match if I find a cheaper price online?
No, I am afraid it is just not equitable for us to do that. We are a 43 year old bricks and mortar store. Our mission has always been to serve our clients to the very best of our abilities. We are proud of the fact that all of our team come from a design and art background and truly love to serve. Your project is our project!  We are much more than a keystroke or a voice on the phone.
 
Your product seems quite expensive. Why is that?
The price of a product always depends on the quality of materials and the workmanship of the manufacturing. Urban Mode sells only “original, authentic” designs made from high quality materials as we believe that all designers should be paid for their creativity. From a sustainability point of view, we prefer that the owners of the products we sell, enjoy them for many years instead of using them for a few months then throwing them in the landfill. We firmly believe that if you amortize a product over the length of time you will enjoy it, the cost to your pocketbook and the environment is quite affordable.
 
How long are the delivery times?
All delivery times vary depending on the product that you choose.
 
First of all, ETA means Estimated Time of Arrival- not guaranteed time of arrival , nor promised time of arrival.
It takes time to manufacture quality. We love to have product that is manufactured in North America but we have very limited suppliers who do that.
 
It generally takes 6 to 8 weeks of manufacturing time to create a product regardless of it being manufactured in North America, Denmark, Italy or Asia.
It takes time to assemble a formal order as well as the travel/shipping time from the country of manufacturing.
This may add an additional 6 to 8 weeks to the manufacturing time.
Some manufacturers do warehouse their products in North America. This will cut down on the delivery times. We will give you an estimated delivery time at the time of ordering.
These delivery times are estimates and dependent on many factors beyond our control, including but not limited to production delays, shipping delays, government delays and forces of nature. In no event shall Urban Mode be liable for deliveries that are received beyond the estimated delivery date.
 
COVID-19 Delays
We are still in the middle of a pandemic and nothing is will ever be "back to normal" as we knew it before COVID-19.
We all know that we are looking at a new normal. As much as we dislike hearing that phrase, it is the new reality. I want to explain what that means in terms of product delivery. It will make everyone's lives much easier if they understand product delivery in the new normal. Standard delivery times in Feb and the first part of March are not at all the times that we can expect now.
Why? Factories all over the globe were closed for a minimum of 12 weeks while everyone was locked down in quarantine. The world struggled to come to terms with COVID-19 and how to protect ourselves, our loved ones and our employees. Many were unable to do that.
Most factories around the world reopened for production about 2 weeks ago and are working diligently to start up again while still trying to protect themselves and their employees from the virus.
Full production is not possible when social distancing must be maintained to protect the health of the people who are working to create your product. Pre COVID-19, we were all accustomed to working side by side in factories, mills, offices, shops and retail showrooms. Now we must keep our social distance. Just this alone slows down production and delivery times.
Some of us are living and working in areas that were less affected by the virus. Unfortunately, this does not apply to us and from what we can tell the factories that produce our furniture, lighting, carpets and other accessories were heavily affected as well. After being closed for 3 to 4 months they are now working hard to get your custom-made items ready for shipping.
 
We all know that we have to stand in line at the bank, for our groceries and our basic supplies in this new normal.
We are in this together. I ask that everyone have some patience and empathy while waiting for their products to arrive. We are as anxious as you to deliver them.
We carefully choose the products that we showcase and do not work with factories that take shortcuts. It takes time to produce quality and from our experience it is always worth the wait.
 
Do you have storage?
Yes, we can arrange for you to store your order. We understand that sometimes a project can be delayed and you need to have your product stored for a period of time. Depending on your order, we are happy to store your order up to 2 weeks at no charge.
 
All storage above a 2 week time period will be charged at a rate of $3.00 per sq. feet per month.
 
The storage fees will be assessed to the size/dimensions of your product and charged accordingly. This amount will need to be paid prior to the shipment leaving the warehouse. 
 
Can I purchase products on the web?
No, at this time we do not sell online. You are able to place your order or inquire about placing an order by either calling us 416-591-8834 or emailing us at info@urbanmode.com.


What if I find a mistake on your website?
This website has been prepared by Urban Mode. Sources of supply and specifications are subject to change. A high standard of accuracy has been sought in the preparation of this website. Errors and omissions are always a possibility. Although Urban Mode cannot be held responsible, upon the discovery of any errors, price errors or omissions, all reasonable steps will be taken to inform Urban Mode customers.

 Can I find all Urban Mode products on this site?
This site features hundreds of products as a way of demonstrating the breadth and depth of our product range; however, this is only a small portion of Urban Mode’s complete product range. We carry a much larger selection through our retail store.
